Dawn Newell

Sawbridgeworth

Now retired, Dawn worked in social care all her working life as a service manager for a large housing association supporting adults with learning disabilities and people with mental health conditions. This role gave her a deep insight into the issues local people face and taught her how to get things done in the face of adversity and to forge bonds with all members of society.

She is now a volunteer for Reach Out Hertfordshire a local charity helping lonely & vulnerable people. She is also an active member of Neighbourhood Watch helping keep the neighbourhood safe. She is passionate about climate change – her priority is to provide a cleaner greener safer climate for future generations. Finally she wants to support vulnerable people in our community to access the resources and services they need.
